Bin da irgendwie zufällig über eine bulletin bei myspace draufgestoßen. Scheint wohl am 8.5.2009 ihren ersten auftritt in deutschland zu haben. Freiwild – Berlin.
Tja schade münster wäre näher gewesen. Hätte ich mir live auch mal gerne angehört…

This is a mix I recorded one dark and stormy night in Vancouver, completely on the fly. The key ingredients: – Passion – Bass [Excessive] – Dim lighting + incense – 2 bottles of San Pellegrino – Some really good bud The improvisational nature of this recording led to a lot of intense and unexpected moments, and also allows a lot of feeling to seep into your ears. Although it is by no means technically perfect, I have come to realize that over time, those little imperfections often morph into my favorite moments. This mix mirrors what I might play during a late late nite or sunrise set. It should be good listening for road trips, spiritual moments, wandering in the woods, working out, or heading out on any sort of adventure. Minimalism starts off with some seriously slamming minimal techno, then veers off into more experimental territory a la Ricardo Villalobos, before going deep and funky, then into a little acid, only to end with a calm dubby afterglow.

Finde den mix persönlich sehr gut. Kommt sanft rüber und steigert sich sehr abwechslungsreich.
Ein paar lieder kannte ich schon, sind aber wieder neue favoriten hinzugekommen. Ich werde die tage nochmal gucken, ob ich andere mixe von ihr finde. Vielleicht übersetzen herr lehmann und ich den text und editieren dann den eintrag. Für diejenigen, die in englisch nicht so fit sind. Denn ich finde es lohnt sich ihn zu lesen, um auch mal zu wissen was die künstlerin drüber schreibt…
